Our Story: Love, Language & Life in the Philippines

Bisdak Learning Hub was born from a love story—one that crossed borders, cultures, and languages.

We are Rob and Rose, a husband-and-wife duo who believe that language is more than just words—it’s the key to understanding, connection, and belonging.

How It All Began

Our journey started when Rob, an Australian, met Rose, a Filipina from Glan, Sarangani. Despite growing up worlds apart, we found common ground in love, faith, and a deep respect for each other’s cultures.

From the moment we met, we knew we had something special. But as we navigated life together, we realised a common challenge faced by many foreigners in the Philippines:
